Postage Info For UK Buyers
Please read the following and choose one on the checkout page. (The free option will be selected automatically unless you click on one of the others.) Please ignore estimated delivery dates given by eBay on the checkout page.
These delivery times are not guaranteed but are very likely.
- Option 1- Free Delivery- Evri- Club will be delivered to your house or apartment. (5-13 working days after payment.)
- Option 2- £0.01- Evri- Club will be delivered to your closest Parcelshop. (5-13 working days after payment) and you need to collect within 10 days.
- Option 3- £9- Royal Mail (ParcelForce)- Club will be delivered to your house or apartment. (2-4 working days after payment.)
Delayed deliveries are possible with all couriers but from past experience they are more likely to happen with Evri than ParcelForce.
You will be given a refund on postage costs if the club is not delivered within the above timeframes including £9 for option 1 or 2.
You will be fully refunded if a courier loses your parcel.
Please note that option 1 or 2 will mean that I will likely delay posting the club so that the delivery day is very likely between 5 and 13 working days after payment compared to option 3.
(I don’t sell clubs every day and the Post Office is much closer to where the club is located than my closest Evri shop or Post Office that accepts Evri parcels.)
Evri are £9 or so cheaper than Royal Mail when posting a single club which is why I offer Evri as a postage option for single clubs.
(13 working days is the longest that Evri have taken to deliver a parcel that I have posted from date of postage and they have around a 95% success rate of delivering parcels based on my past experience).
(I think that 7 working days was the longest that ParcelForce have ever taken to deliver a parcel from date of postage but ParcelForce are usually very reliable and have around a 99% success rate of delivering parcels based on my past experience.)
Before you choose option 2, please check the Evri website to see where your closest ParcelShop is and their opening times. There may not be one that’s close to your address. Most Evri Parcelshops open 7 days a week from early until late. You will need to bring ID when you collect your parcel. You could also provide your email address by sending me an eBay message if you would like to be kept updated on tracking information and when your parcel is available to collect. Your email address will not be used for anything else.

Extra Notes
Loft and lie angles on irons often shift a bit just from use. This is partly why I measure them.
I think these irons are standard length according to TaylorMade. TaylorMade used to not include grip caps as part of measured club lengths (see photo 19- green line) but they now do.
eBay is the only place that I advertise and sell golf clubs so if you can see this listing on eBay then the clubs are available to buy.
The ferrule is secure in position ie I could pull it back or twist it.
(Loose or shifted ferrules are only a cosmetic issue and won’t affect performance but I check them anyway. If you ever do a get a loose ferrule and you want it to be secure, you can pay a club pro around £3-5 per club to glue them back into position again, or you can do it yourself if you do a youtube search for ‘golf loose ferrule fix’ and watch the first youtube result but ferrules are only put on irons and wedges for cosmetic reasons. Loose ferrules will almost always stay in position they’re in unless you try and pull them back.
I bought this iron as part of a set. Some of the grips have not been put on straight, ie the alignment logos are not in the centre when the clubs are in the address position. (Please see photos).
I have left small dots/ lines from a permanent marker pen on the underside of the shafts from measuring balance points. Light scrubbing with a sponge scourer and some water will take them off if desired.

One Month Warranty
- A full refund will be given if the club breaks within one month of purchase ie a clubhead separates from a shaft or a shaft snaps.
- The warranty does not apply if it’s your fault. For example, you swing a club into a tree trunk or tree root.
- I will need to see a photo of both the clubhead and shaft before sending a refund.
- The warranty only applies to buyers in the UK and Ireland.
- It’s very unlikely that an iron or wedge will break but it occasionally happens.

Actual eBay feedback as of October 2025:
- There’s two negative feedbacks on my account that you can’t see.
- Other than these two instances, my feedback page shows all feedbacks that I have ever received.
One negative feedback was removed/ hidden by eBay. I didn’t ask eBay to remove it. (The courier lost clubs that were being delivered to a buyer in the USA.)
The other negative feedback was left by a buyer who wrote that the lie angles were up the left. This was years ago before I started measuring loft/ lie angles. I bought the clubs from a club pro who told me that he adjusted the lie angles to standard. I put that information on my listing for the buyer to read. The buyer ‘revised’ their feedback from negative to positive after I offered them a £20 partial refund in exchange. The buyer agreed and was happy to keep the clubs and did not want to return them for a refund. I regret asking them to revise their feedback and I’m sorry for doing so. They were entitled to leave negative feedback.
- You can see how many times a seller has had feedback revised by going onto their feedback page and looking at the top right hand corner (see 4th last photo).
- I do not want to point the finger at eBay given what I have written above but buyers on eBay have a right to know all of this information about eBay feedback wrongfully being removed.
- I have more than one eBay account but I only sell golf clubs from this one. I buy many different things on eBay. Most of the time I do not leave negative or neutral feedback but when I do, most of the time it gets removed by eBay, even though none of their policies regarding feedback are broken. I think wrongful eBay feedback removal is more likely if you return something under the eBay moneyback guarantee for a full refund for receiving a wrong item or it not being as described. Many people know about eBay regularly and wrongfully removing feedback which means that these buyers cannot trust a seller’s eBay feedback page. You have no idea as to how many feedbacks have been removed. This is why I wouldn’t buy from that seller again in the fourth last photo on this listing. I do not trust their eBay feedback percentage. If I did, I would put my one instance down to a one off mistake but for all I know they could be sending the wrong item out to buyers on a regular basis to their buyers. That was the first and only item I bought from them.
I don’t have 100% feedback as mentioned above but a seller could be the best seller of all time and actually have 100% positive feedback and people like me will be looking at their feedback page thinking eBay have removed many negative feedbacks for them. That seller doesn’t get the credit they deserve.
- I later tried leaving positive and neutral feedbacks which contained both positive and negative comments within the same feedback review. At least some of those got removed as well.
- One time I bought two counterfeit sets of new TaylorMade P790’s on eBay (from the same seller) that I thought were very likely fake before I bought them just by looking at the seller’s photos. This seller was selling a significant number of these sets and was advertising them as TaylorMade P790 irons ie they weren’t saying that they were fakes but selling counterfeit goods is illegal on eBay and anywhere else anyway.
I wanted to warn people about this which is why I bought them so I could leave negative feedback.
I measured the lofts and lies of both sets which were irregular (9 iron loft stronger than 8 iron loft etc). This was before I knew about the Okrasa swing weight calculator but I assume that the swing weights were irregular as well if the counterfeiters couldn’t even get the lofts right. The shaft labels were clearly fake (KBS Tour 90) compared to another set of irons that I had at the time which also had KBS Tour 90 shafts but were genuine. The supposedly Golf Pride grips were obviously fake to me as well just by the look and feel of them but you can also do a smell test with grips to identity counterfeit ones. These ones smelled like cheap car tyres. A really unusual and very strong smell for a golf grip.
I returned both sets to the seller under the eBay moneyback guarantee and provided strong evidence to eBay that the clubs were fake with photos. (I did not buy the clubs from this account because I was scared of revenge from the seller). I left them negative feedback which got removed by eBay and the seller sold more counterfeit sets since then with supposedly 100% positive feedback. I couldn’t warn anyone with the negative feedback l left because eBay removed it.
- I have read that feedback removal is not just a problem on eBay. This a problem on other review sites as well. Negative reviews get removed and the websites of sellers that have their own review system can probably remove or manipulate reviews to whatever they want them to be (if they want to).
- A solution to this for people who regularly buy things on eBay is to make a list of notes of negative or neutral feedbacks along with usernames of sellers that you have bought from that you don’t want to buy from again. You can then check that list before buying an item from a certain seller. Unfortunately you may have to waste your time doing that because of wrongful eBay feedback removal.
- This is a note for eBay. Please do not ban my account because of the fourth last photo on this listing or what I have written above. It’s all true. I think the eBay website is great. Especially the eBay money back guarantee (because sometimes you need it). Apart from the wrongful and inconsistent eBay feedback removal which is a problem for buyers trying to make informed decisions as to what sellers to buy from.

Rating Guide
- The biggest performance issue on second hand irons and wedges (excluding grips) is that grooves gradually get less sharp over time after hitting lots of golf balls. Sharp grooves means the highest and most consistent backspin levels possible. This is more important on your wedges for when you want to stop the ball quickly. So clubface condition is the most important part of an iron or wedge. Shaft rusting or pitting just increases the risk of a clubhead separating from the shaft (which is very rare). It shouldn’t happen unless the rusting or pitting is really bad. The grooves will almost always get very worn on an iron or wedge long before the club breaks.
- Even some Tour Pros will use an iron set for several years without changing them, resulting in penny wear marks on the clubfaces of the most used irons.
- I’ve not tested this out so I don’t know but supposedly some brands are better than others at making irons and wedges with grooves that will hold up over time, even after hitting lots of balls over several years.
Head and Face conditions:
10: New- Never been used. Cellophane still on all of the clubheads.
9: Excellent- Showing extremely light usage marks. One round or range session at most.
8: Very Good- Showing light usage marks. Five rounds or range sessions at most.
7: Good- Clubs could have been used for a number of years but have been well looked after.
6: Fair- Showing increased wear marks.
5 and below: Poor- The clubs will still be usable but the clubfaces will be showing big wear marks and the grooves will likely be very worn.
Shaft conditions:
New: Never been used. Unmarked.
9: Excellent- May show signs of very minor marks. Shop display condition.
8: Very Good- Showing slight marks. Steel shafts will show no specs of rust.
7: Good- Shafts could show some marks and wear to shaft decals (labels/ stickers). Steel shafts may have a few specs of rust but no pitting.
6: Fair- Shafts will show more marks and/ or increased wear to shaft decals. Steel shafts could show increased numbers of rust specs and also light pitting but no big rust spots.
5 and below: Poor- Steel shafts will show rust and/ or heavy pitting. There may also be big rust spots but they will only be present if shown in the photos. Graphite shafts will show big marks (bag rub).
Grip conditions:
10: New- Never been used. Cellophane still on the grips.
9: Excellent- Grips feel almost new.
8: Very Good- Lightly used. Five rounds or range sessions at most.
7: Good- Grips could have been used for several rounds and range sessions but still in good enough condition to use for most golfers.
6: Fair- Grips will have lost tackiness and could show minor depression marks. Many golfers will be getting the clubs regripped.
5 and below: Poor- Grips will be very worn and could have major depression marks. New grips advised.
