This is a pair of lapel/collar pins with cross and fleur de lis "flag" of the Italia Line of Genoa, one of four private lines consolidated under state supervision in 1936. This line was assigned the liner transoceanic services between the ports of the Mediterranean and those of North, Central and South America. Liners included the Rex, the Count of Savoy and after the War, the Andrea Doria. The poster depicted in the photos is from the internet and dates to 1943 including the flags of the four different lines with Italia on the far left. These pins are 11/16 inch. I am also listing a one inch pin with a blue border.
Significant flaws not depicted in the photos are described here-with, minor flaws and normal wear are not. Unless the item is described as new, assume there will be minor flaws or wear commensurate with a used item of given age.
