This is a beautifully restored Telechron Model M1 electric mantel clock.
The solid wood case has been hand-rubbed with traditional shellac and polished to a deep, glassy luster that rivals showroom condition. Each layer was carefully leveled and finished to reveal the natural grain and warmth of the original wood.
The clock runs whisper-quiet and is extremely accurate and reliable. The cord has been inspected for safety and passes with flying colors.
The underside retains its historic service label, dated between 1939 and 1973, adding unique provenance and charm.
Displayed here running alongside a 1930s Atwater Kent radio (see video clip), this piece perfectly captures the Golden Age of American craftsmanship.
This beautifully restored Telechron Model 324-1 features a mirror-gloss shellac finish and runs quietly and accurately. The rotor operates near-silent and has not required internal service. The original glass and dial has a small amount of play consistent with age but remains secure.
