NOTE there are many Frankenstein modified other type pumps out there from supper shady rebuilders sold as imposter pumps that people have on their engines, they are welded peace of junks if you have one it does not qualify for exchange it can only be rebuilt

#1 Buyers old pump Must Not be broken or damaged in any way that would interfere with it being restored No missing parts, not dis-assembled in any way including parts removed and then put back or rebuilt before.
(Option if the buyer does not have a old pump to send or for some reason will not send one or buyers pump does not qualify the buyer will not receive core credit $

Your smog pump being re-placed has failed because of several reasons and conditions,
#1 cause of contaminants and pump failure is a bad one way valve (Also Known as a check valve) that lets exhaust contaminants and extreme heat and high pressure into the pump,
#2 Also the air intake filter part lets water and contaminants in too and the filter cartridge must be replaced if it has one or put one in if it is missing ,
#3 your pumps and system is extremely corroded rusted rotted and full of contaminants and that means the rest of the system is in the same condition,
#4 This is due to a bad emission system with several bad parts that are not working like they should or correctly together with the smog pump,
#5 Before installing this smog pump you must correct all the bad working parts in the system or your new pump will fail and you will void warranty,
#6 All the valves like divert-er valve, gulp valve, one way valve, Check valve, back fire valve especially the valve on the exhaust manifold, must be replaced,
#7 All hoses must be replaced because they are full of contaminants that will damage the pump,
#8 All idlers in the system must be replaced too,
#9 You must make sure all the part in the system are in top working condition, you can't just replace the pump”
