It ensures the safe opening and interlocking of machine guards, doors, and covers by sending a stop signal when the actuating key is withdrawn. The switch has a robust Zamak (zinc alloy) body and an adjustable turret head for flexible installation.

Actuator: The switch uses an actuating key (sold separately) that is removed to open the safety contacts. It can accept a straight, wide, pivoting, or sliding bolt actuator, and has eight possible key entry positions. The actuator is made of steel.

Locking: Includes locking of the actuator, which is unlocked by a pushbutton.

Contact configuration: Features one normally-open (NO) and two normally-closed (NC) slow-break contacts.
