Obverse: DIVVS AVGVSTVS, radiate bust of Divus Augustus left; S C across fields
Reverse: CONSENSV SEVAT ET EQ ORDIN P Q R, Caligula (?) laureate and togate, seated left on curule chair, holding branch in right hand, left hand against side

Worn and pitted with brassy highlights. A rare and interesting type, with a reverse legend unique among Roman Imperial coins. The reverse legend translates as "[By] consent of the Senate, the Equestrian order, and the people of Rome."
