These are miniature Master Parachutist Wings of the United States Army.
(Also worn by USAF qualified parachutists) This listing is for one each miniature size master parachute wings. Both clutches are present and in good working order and will be shipped with the badge. The miniature Parachutist Badge is the older silver oxide style and is hallmarked LIGI on the back for Lordship Industries. These can be shined to a high luster if so desired. This are normally worn on the Mess Dress uniform, but could also be displayed or worn on a cap or jacket lapel. This U. S. military miniature Master Parachutist qualification badge jump wing
insignia is new in an unopened package dated 1983. Insignia is about 7/8 inches wide by
3/4 inches high. Silver oxide finish. Clutch back prong fastener.

The star and wreath above the canopy indicates that the
wearer is an expert paratrooper who has successfully completed
Jumpmaster School, has a minimum of three years on jump status with an
operational airborne unit and has a minimum of 65 parachute jumps from
an aircraft while in flight plus many other qualifications.
