Here is a vintage Vulcan Solenoid Repair Kit.  Specifically for Delco solenoid part numbers 1114257 and 1114272.

The instructions say these solenoids were used on:

Buick.............1961 with 401 engine
Oldsmobile...1960-1961 Super 88 and 98
Pontiac..........1960 with Hydromatic
Pontiac..........1961 with standard transmission

Installation of this kit requires cutting wires to the old contact unit and soldering to the new unit.  Soldering tools and skills will be required.  Instructions included.

Some tarnish on copper contacts but still in great condition.  

This was manufactured in the U.S.A. back in the early 60's.
