These Danners were scuffed up but not much used. I've hand-washed and brush-scrubbed them, and applied a light coat of Neatsfoot. I think the laces will last another year, despite the aglets missing or cracked on two of the ends. I'll throw in a replacement pair from my collection, though I don't have it pictured here.

These are good, waterproof (GoreTex) boots with an 8" rise. The tread is not very aggressive, which prevents unnecessarily tearing up the terrain. The pair weigh 3 lbs 1 oz. on my scale.

Not sure if you know this, but with speedlacing hooks, there's a way to keep them nice and tight: where the laces exit the last D-ring, just pass them one under the other, the way you do before tying a bow--but do it three times; then proceed to the speed-lace hooks. That'll give your feet good support and keep your laces tied longer.
