The Keitech Swing Impact FAT is a soft plastic swimbait that can be used in various fishing techniques. Its tapered, ringed body and wide tail are designed to create a natural swimming action and vibrations at any retrieve speed.

Rigging

Swimbait Hook: A weighted swimbait hook with a screw lock is a common way to rig the lure. The hook is screwed into the nose of the bait, and the hook point is then inserted through the body to keep the lure straight.

Jig Head: The lure can also be rigged on a jig head, such as a football head jig. This can be effective for slow-rolling over deep structures.

Drop Shot: For drop shot fishing, a cylindrical or teardrop weight can be used depending on the bottom structure (grassy or rocky).

Fishing Techniques

Slow-Rolling: The lure's design allows it to maintain a swimming motion even at slow speeds. You can cast it out and slowly reel it in, allowing the tail to do the work.

Yo-yo or Stroking: This technique involves sharply lifting the bait straight up and allowing it to fall vertically. This can trigger a reaction bite, especially when fish are biting the bait as it sinks.

Pendulum Technique: This involves casting the lure a long distance with a ball head or minnow-shaped jig head and allowing it to swing back to the boat, using the reel only to take up slack line.

Jig Trailer: The lure is versatile and can also be used as a trailer on a jig
