Hate to let this go, an absolute dream of a player grade vintage guitar but needs must with an upcoming marriage and trying to get on the property ladder Up for sale is my 1967 ES-345 in original finish. I bought this from southside guitars in 2023 and bought it to Joe Dobson from Josephkaye guitars to inspect and bring it up to max playability. It’s faded nicely to a burnt orange but you can see the original colour on the back, under the pickguard and the trapeze tan line. Pots are original, as is the wood and finish. It’s had a refret and the back of the neck has had a refin near the top of the headstock (stamped serial) for what must be an ancient but small headstock crack. Nevertheless it’s solid and you can hardly notice it, it backlights really well too. Converted to a stop tailpiece with a period correct 60s bridge. Pickups are Joes Sonic Monkeys - they’re his Peter Green pickups which he doesn’t make anymore. They sound outstanding and have that OOP middle position. Varitone was converted to mono but still useable, really great for that B.B King sound and for a bit of funk. Pickguard is all parts and then aged, knobs are crazyparts, tuners are 18:1 gotohs which work really well. New nut. Overall this is a killer playing guitar that is an absolute beauty especially in the flesh when the light catches it. The neck is slimmer but feels really comfortable. Would rather deliver this by hand or you can come and try it (through my vintage selmer which is also for sale). I’m in N1 and Herts
