Andy Warhol Rare Original 1969 Electric Chair, Conspiracy Means to Breathe Together Poster

This original, large-scale, vintage poster produced in 1969 comes directly from the estate of Andy Warhol. The poster was created to promote an art auction at a Chicago art gallery in 1969, to benefit the Fund for the Conspiracy Defense that was established to support the legal defense of the Chicago Seven. The poster aptly features one of Warhol’s iconic Electric Chair paintings from his Disaster series that was a seminal work auctioned off to support this cause. This is a unique opportunity to purchase a rare and out-of-print poster directly from Warhol’s own personal collection.

Proceeds directly benefit the non-profit charitable organization he founded with the mission to advance the visual arts. Since its inception in 1987, The Andy Warhol Foundation has been a stalwart advocate for freedom of expression, supporting work that is experimental and challenging in nature and from communities that have been historically marginalized.
