DESCRIPTION This vintage postcard features a black-and-white view of Malmesbury Abbey and Abbots House in England. The image captures the ruins of the abbey set atop a hill with surrounding trees and a railway track in the foreground. The detailed illustration showcases historic architecture and scenic countryside, offering a glimpse into the areas heritage. The back of the postcard is part of the Cecily series, marked with a postmark and handwritten message, making it a collectible item for history and architecture enthusiasts.> Your postcard will be shipped in a protective sleeve. The postcard is previously owned/used, and some wear is expected, such as wearing along the edges, bumping/blunting/denting of corners, chipping, creases, imprints, discoloration, etc. There may be writing (front and/or back), smudges, scruffs, ink. Postcards may have edge and corner wear, nicks, bending, creases, discoloration, writing, or marks from age. The condition of the postcard is consistent with an old or antique paper postcard. Normal aging and storage might have resulted in some yellowing, tanning, and other wearing. Aberrations may be noted, but you need to be the final inspector. Please refer to the scans/pictures of front and back for more details on condition. And, please contact us with any questions you have, especially, if you see what you think might be an aberration. We will gladly take another closer review for you and supply additional pictures, if you desire. The postcard will be mailed in a plastic sleeve in a paperboard mailer.
