This is a rare, heavy-duty cast aluminum coffee mill manufactured by the French company MOULUX, roughly from the 1950s to 1960s.

The body, aged over the years, has a vintage feel that's unique to cast aluminum.

Its solid weight provides excellent stability when grinding beans.

The mill's construction, down to the smallest detail, seems designed with ease of use in mind.

First, the interior of the mill features teeth for roughly cutting the beans, with milling teeth underneath, for easier grinding.

The drawer for collecting the grounds also has one beveled corner, making it easier to remove the grounds.

This is a very good mill.

By the way, MOULUX only makes this one model.

It's quite strange that they only made one model of such a wonderful mill.

To adjust the grind, lift the pin under the handle while turning the nut at the bottom. Turning it to the right makes a finer grind, and turning it to the left makes a coarser grind.

The internal grinding teeth are less prone to wear, making for a smooth grind.

For your comfort, we disassemble, clean, adjust, and reassemble the mill in our shop.

We don't use industrial chemicals for cleaning, but instead use gentle citric acid and baking soda instead.

*We perform a test grind to ensure safe use. Please note that some coffee powder may remain inside the mill during this process.
