Hand forged from British Steel, this is a simple very useful tool which is great on the hearth  and more useful than a poker. It has been made with a penny eye which has a 1" internal diameter.

It is generally used for shaping fires in a blacksmith's hearth.  This scaled down version at 19 1/4" long is great for pulling and pushing fuel and ash from those hard to move corners of a fire while the fire is still hot, or for manoeuvring part burned logs into a good shape which the enthusiastic fire maker is always keen to do!

Other sizes and styles available - handmade pokers also available.
