This is a new unopened item that I have had since I won it at a work Christmas party. I thought it was so cool and I was gonna future up my house a bit. Unfortunately, like me, none of my house was smart. So this ended up in the hall closet for all these years lol!
If you are concerned with the functionality of this item, I am happy to open it and test it after you buy it. If it doesn't work, I'll refund you and life will go on.
