Lionel Postwar Super 'O' set # 2549W produced in 1960. Below are the details for each included item. All of the cars are in Excellent condition or better. None of the wheels show evidence of much run time, if any. All boxes have some degree of wear. Please use pictures to verify condition, they are part of the description. 2549W Set Box: Sturdy with all flaps. Has some paper loss.
2349 Northern Pacific: This is just about mint. Bench tested. Motor runs wells, the e-unit cycles. Light and horn are working. Box: The outer sleave ends are a little torn up. The panels for both the outer sleeve and actual box are fully detached. They are just sitting in place.
3540 Operating Radar Scanning Scope Car: The light works. The rubber band on that rotates the antenna is disformed from sitting in the same position and didn't want to turn. It will most likely need replaced, but I have it loose to see if regains shape. Box: Panel is missing the small tab. The panel is attached, but there is tape on the inside to reinforce one side. One end of the box has tape holding the torn flap in place. It is also missing an inner flap.
6470 Exploding Box Car: Has all of its parts. Box: Panel and tab are attached and both ends have all of their flaps. One end flap has a tear, but is attached.
6819 Flatcar with Helicopter. The load is an operating helicopter, which is not original. This car would have come with a non operating helicopter. Box: The panel is attached, but the punch out tab is taped in place.
6650 Missile Launching Flat Car: Missile firing functions work. Box: Panel is attached, ends are complete. It is missing the punch out tab.
3535 Security car: Searchlight works. Box: Panel is attached and the ends are complete. Includes instruction sheet.
39-25 Parts Envelope: Missing one bus connector.
This includes a 90 degree crossing section.
