Marbled endpapers and pastedowns. Bound by H. & C. Treacher, Brighton, with their bookseller's ticket and their stamp on the front pastedown and free front endpaper respectively. A school's prize binding, with the prize bookplate on the front pastedown. A novel concerning Ireland, romance, and scheming priests. Very Good.

Minor rubbing to the extremities, the prize bookplate has been scratched, the scratch affects the board underneath, a modern bookplate on the free front endpaper.
