Up for sale, a 1970s Firstman Mosrite Ventures Model “Avenger” in 100% original condition and in perfect working order. A continuation of the Ventures Model legacy, this guitar follows the stylings of the 1960s USA Mosrites, but was produced in Japan in the '70s as a result of an agreement between Semie Moseley and the Firstman company. It effectively captures the finer points of classic Mosrite design with a Moseley vibrato tailpiece, “Mosrite”-stamped pickup covers, smooth knobs, and German Carve on the basswood body.

The stock pair of stock single coil pickups are snappy and sparkling, not as overwound as some, yet still providing a bold, distinct sound in every pickup position. Metering just shy of 6k ohms, there are chewy, snappy bridge pickup tones on tap, and fatter sounds in the neck position, with an authoritative treble zing that's quintessential Mosrite. This Mosrite weighs 8lbs 10oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
