Blue velvet style covering to the inside. 

I'm unsure what it was originally designed to hold. Possibly a pendant with a chain. The front section is circular with a deepeR section towards the back.

Total - 9.7 cm long (excluding opening button) x 6 cm wide x 2.2 cm high

Round section - 2.7 cm wide. Back section - 5.3 cm wide
