The model was delivered from 1919. It produced 1,023 kW (1,390 hp), weighed 120.4 tons and reached a top speed of 65 km/h. A total of 850 examples were built. They usually carried freight trains. The last example of the DB, the 56 2637, was parked in 1963 and decommissioned in 1965.
