Elgin’s advanced (DLC) Diamond Like Carbon Coating Lifter Pad coating significantly enhances the surface hardness of the lifter base and creates an extremely fast, ultra-low-friction interface with the camshaft lobe. As a result, PRO-STOCK DLC lifters enable performance engine builders to reduce valvetrain operating temperature and energy loss, increase engine performance and extend the lifespans of both the lifter and cam lobe. These street- and track-proven hydraulic lifters also virtually eliminate the need for traditional cam-to-lifter break-in.
