This is a natural Arkansas sharpening stone which is found only around Hot Springs, Arkansas. The stone is novaculite and is the finest natural abrasive stone available. It has superior sharpening characteristics that will actually polish the edge as it sharpens.

These are high quality cosmetic 2nd grade sharpening stones. They may have minor imperfections such as small chips,sandpits,discolorations,cracks, etc. These should not affect their use.
