TWO used Bally pinball coils AN-26-1200. I have dozens of these used coils removed from scrapping playfields.
You will receive TWO used coils, not necessarily the ones pictured. Some of you, like me, want the look of original coils with matching labels. These AN coils will work perfectly in any application that calls for a 26-1200 coil with an AO, AN, AR, or A prefix. If you have a core color preference, let me know when ordering. I do have some early green label ones as well.
I have personally inspected each for signs of overheating, coil sleeve fitment, a decent label, and they all measure between 10.7 and 11.2 ohms. Most are 11 ohms. Diode is not shorted. Note: The diode is NOT tested. Since there is always a possibility the diode is open, I am including a new diode with each coil. I always replace the diode when installing a used unknown coil. It won't hurt anything to add a second diode for more back EMF protection.
You will have to clean them up, remove cut wire stubs, and replace the diode.
Install the new diode with the same polarity (the stripe) as the old one. Be sure to solder wires on your playfield to the correct side of the diode! Generally, the common wire (usually yellow) goes to the striped side (cathode) of the diode. Failure to get the diode polarity correct will blow your driver transistor.
Buyer understands seller is NOT responsible for improper connection. Be careful.
I have a ton of various used good coils. Mostly Bally, some classic Stern, Bally/Midway, and Williams as well. Some early green label Bally coils too. If you have a specific need of a type and color, send me a message, and I will create a listing for you if I have it. Rick.
