Repurposed Little Golden Book - The Little Red Hen 1972 printing children's book made into a wire-bound farm themed junk journal. Book measures 8" x 6" 74 pages (both sides counted). Entire story present within pages - in story order. Cover of book in good vintage condition. Book corners added. Matching ribbon tie closure.
Minimally decorated pages for you to add your own embellishments or leave blank. Pages are made from themed scrapbook paper, tea stained paper, all pages from original book and other miscellaneous papers. Pages can be collaged on, photos added, pockets and tucks to hold ephemera, tags, journaling cards, personal items, etc.
Two pages have large pockets on top. One includes an extra large tag; the other can be filled with your own items/memorabilia/papers, etc.
Pockets, tucks, & belly bands in journal made from various items, scrapbook paper, book pages. I put pieces of ephemera in the journal to show where the pockets and tucks are within the journal. All can be taken out and used wherever you prefer. Larger and smaller ephemera included. Additional page edge tabs are punched and also included.
