Large! Lovely Lausitzer Glas Green Cut to Clear Crystal bowl. Oberlausitzer Glaswerke J. Schweig and Company (Lausitzer Glas) began its operation in the late 19th century. After the two World Wars, it continued making some of the most beautiful cut crystal during the German Democratic Republic period (1949-1990) using 24% lead content. This bowl was made during that period. It features four large beautifully cut pinwheels around the sides and one on the bottom. Centered between each side pinwheel are flowering roses with cut frosted petals and leaves. The saw tooth scalloped rim of the bowl is simply spectacular! In light, this bowl sparkles! Its condition is great and free of any issues!
A very nice example to add to your collection of Cut to Clear Crystal.
