Features an ultra-quiet, single-speed 80x80x25mm Arctic case fan powered by 12 volts. Equipped with 5 black blades and a long-life fluid dynamic bearing, it operates at around 1600 RPM, delivering up to 21 CFM of airflow while maintaining a low noise level of approximately 13 dB(A).

Compatibility Criteria for Fit: 
Compatible with devices up to approximately 0.910 inches thick, though fit may vary based on the shape of the device's bottom edge. For thinner laptops, users can install optional 0.063-inch thick left and right pads to increase offset and improve airflow. An optional retention pad is also available to help secure the laptop in place.

Compatibility Criteria for Cooling: 
Compatible with devices that do not have hot air exhaust vents located within the central 4.500-inch section along the bottom edge (typically the screen hinge edge on laptops). Cooling performance is enhanced when devices meet the following criteria—the more criteria met, the greater the cooling benefit:

  1. Metal enclosures or chassis that absorb and transfer heat effectively into the cooling airflow via multiple vents and the heatsink’s thermal mass.

  2. No added surface coverings by the user that could trap heat and hinder thermal transfer.

  3. Processor placement near the center of the bottom edge, aligning the hottest part of the device with the system’s most effective cooling zone for optimal heat transfer.

  4. Cool air intake vents centered on the bottom edge, allowing direct airflow into the device for improved internal cooling.
