Original 1893 U.S. Geological Survey topographic map titled
Cape May Sheet, New Jersey, reprinted in May 1899. This map depicts the southernmost tip of New Jersey including Cape May, Cape May Point, Cold Spring, Holly Beach, and the surrounding marshlands and inlets. While the map includes only the upper quarter with cartographic detail, the remaining space is blank as issued—often done to align with standard grid formats. Published by the USGS in collaboration with the Geological Survey of New Jersey and the U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey. Some wear and paper loss at edges, especially upper left and lower center.
