I recently acquired a number of these vintage / new old stock (1970s-80s?) high quality prints of classic sports cars on watercolor (textured) paper. 16x20” - perfect for framing. Very good / Excellent condition - these were stored for years in their original envelope / never displayed.
Note on listing photos: Magnets were used (on top corners) to secure the prints for photos. There are no tack holes on the prints.
CLASSIC JAGUAR XK 120
First presented to the London Automotive Society at the Earls Court Motor Exhibit in 1948, this was the first of Jaguar's modern aerodynamic production models. The body was constructed of aluminum panels over a laminated framework. It was equipped with a 3.4 litre Twin Overhead Cam six-cylinder engine that produced 120 horsepower and reached speeds up to 132 miles per hour. The XK 6-cylinder unit was the first volume-produced dual-overhead cam engine car. The average enthusiast considered this Jaguar to be the last word in dual-purpose sports racing cars combining comfort and performance. In 1954, the Jaguar XK 120 was replaced by a new XK 140.
Check my other listings for other variations / cars in the print series.
Prints will ship flat - carefully packed with cardboard stiffeners for safe delivery. Thank you!
