Vintage, 1960, University of Pennsylvania Tea Cup & Saucer 2 piece set made in England by Wedgwood of Etruria & Barlaston. Teacup holds 5 oz. Cream porcelain with red transfer artwork. Signed, or marked on bottoms: University of Pennsylvania 1960, Wedgwood of Etruria & Barlaston, Made in England.
Decoration: Greek key border inside rim of teacup. Exterior of teacup has two medallions. Inside one is Benjamin Franklin in profile; inside the other is the arms of the University. On the saucer is an olive wreath, or 2 crossed olive branches, and the same Greek key border as on the teacup.
Condition: Very good vintage, used condition. Some pieces may have small spots of discoloration, manufacturing flaws and/or glaze chips. Photos of specific pieces available after purchase and upon request.
Dimensions: Teacup is 2.5” H at top of handle and 4.5” Diameter at edge of handle. Saucer is .75” H x 5.5” Diameter.
