This product is a vintage Elks Ironstone Egg or Custard Cup featuring a BPOE (Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks) emblem in purple. The cup is signed and would have been used in a restaurant setting during the early 20th century. It is a collectible item of historical significance, representing the Elks fraternal organization. Made by Lamberton Scammell, this piece of memorabilia would be a unique addition to any collection focusing on Elks history or vintage restaurant ware.
In excellent vintage or antique condition with no cracks, chips, or breaks. However, there is one hole along the band near the bottom that appears to have been a bubble in the pottery from manufacture. Also, some of the decorative elements are blurred, as may be seen in photos.
Measures approximately 2" tall x 2" diameter at top rim. Please review photos to confirm condition.
