SUB HOC SIGNO VINCES - Latin for "Under this sign you will conquer".  This set was made by Arklow in Ireland.  Arklow was a very fine china maker.  I'm not sure of the year it was made, but some other dishes with shields/crests that used this gold triangle pattern are saying they're from the '50s or '40s.  Please do your own research if unsure. 

CONDITION:  See photos.  I think set is from 1940s or 50s, so very nice VINTAGE condition.  One cup has a small base chip and shows more crazing than any other piece.  Gold trim still very nice.  Very minimal scratching/signs of use on 2 serving plates.  VINTAGE ITEMS.
