Radio Show Transcription Disc From The Armed Forces Radio & Television Service.  Two complete radio programs on this 16 inch, vinyl, 33 1/3 rpm disc.  This disc was issued to Armed Forces radio stations for broadcast to U. S. troops and not available to the general public, very rare!

"You Bet Your Life" starring Groucho Marx Program title given on the label is "Groucho Marx #406".   In this episode, the secret word is "Hand".  One of the contestants is professional wrestler "Wild" Red Berry, who gives an excellent interview with Groucho Marx.  Announcer is Clifton Fadiman.  Time is 25:30 complete

"The Bob Hope Show" radio program #749 from October 2, 1951 starring Bob Hope with guests Bing Crosby & Jane Russell.  Music is by Les Brown & The Band of Renown.  Announcer is Bill Goodwin.  Program originates from San Diego.  Program includes a skit "The Road To New Orleans" with Bob Hope, Bing Crosby & Jane Russell.  Includes a short skit with Bob Hope, Bing Crosby & Jane Russell spoofing Bing Crosby not being allowed to check into a Vancouver Canada hotel for having a beard.  Bing Crosby sings "In The Cool Cool Cool Of The Evening".  Margaret Whiting sings "From This Moment On" with Les Brown & His Orchestra, this song may be used as a filler from another Bob Hope Show.  Time is 25:30 complete

 Disc is in Very Good or better condition with surface scratches, sound is Excellent-, disc sounds better than it's condition   

Due to their size, 16 inch discs will not play on most standard turntables.   For $10 I can include a CD copy of the entire disc for the buyer
