Up for grabs is a first edition copy of The Stand, the classic novel by Stephen King, published in 1978. This hardcover is marked T39 on the last page, near the binding. It is a stated, true first edition. It would make an exceptional addition to any Stephen King or horror fiction collection.

Overall, this copy is in very good minus/good plus (VG-/G+) condition. The dust jacket shows light wear/creasing and a few small tears at the top of the book, at the binding. The tears are the most noticeable blemishes. They are pictured clearly in the last two photos. The interior pages show no marks, stains, tears, and very little aging. The exterior edge of the pages shows only light soiling. There is a nickel sized stain along the bottom exterior edge of the pages. This can be seen in the third to last photo.
