CoverPro is a dedicated cover hem stitch machine, without any other serge, overlock, or rolled hem stitches,and does not cut the material, as you are sewing on a fold to hem or further into the fabric for décorative cover hem stitching.

With a wide double straight top stitch and bottom cover hem serg stitch, the 900CP is our most economical CoverPro machine. Its innovative design is based on the marriage of an industrial-style cover hem machine and a convenient home machine. The resulting union has produced a high-speed, long arm, heavy-duty cover hem machine that looks and operates like a sewing machine.

The cover stitch is what gives garments their professional looking finish. This stitch (also called a "cover hem" or interlock) was previously available only on sergers, and then, often only on the highest-end sergers.

With the release of its CoverPro series, the Janome Sewing Machine Company has made this sophisticated finish available on a model with the power and control of an industrial specialty machine, but with the unique look and feel of a home sewing machine the two new CoverPro cover stitch sewing machines offer home sewers all the possibilities of cover stitch sewing while simplifying both set up and operation.

The CoverPro 900CPX is a more economical model, offering a wide 5mm, double-needle cover stitch and a chain stitch. Because they only do these two types of stitches, they're extremely fast up to 1,000 stitches per minute and much easier to set up and use. They look more like regular sewing machines, and offer familiar features that make them easier to use than sergers, like a full size sewing bed, free arm sewing, vertical needle drop and a one-hand thread cutter.

The cover stitch is especially suited to stretchy fabrics like knits, as well as the popular new blends of traditional woven fabrics with a small percentage of stretch fiber added for extra flexibility. The CoverPro series machines are ideal for constructing projects from fashion tops to competition ice skating costumes.

The cover stitch is a serger-type stitch made without the knives (no fabric is cut), so it can be used not only to finish hems, necklines, collars and cuffs, but also for decorative effects in the middle of the fabric. Cover stitches can be made with two or three needles. For example, a double needle cover stitch will show two lines of straight stitching on the top of the fabric with the two lines joined by a looping stitch on the bottom side. Because both sides of a cover stitch are finished, it looks great with decorative thread.

Shipping

Buyer is to pay shipping and handling of amount stated in the listing. Because we want every item that we send out to arrive to safely, we insure every item that leaves our warehouse at our own expense.

After your payment you might receive a UPS tracking number, that does not mean the item has left our warehouse yet. Please be aware it may take up to 5 to 7 business days for your order to arrive. The UPS tracking number will become active at some time during the 5-7 day period

We try to ship every item the same day in which your order is placed and payment is verified, however it usually takes 1 or 2 business days during heavy sales periods to process the order.

We ship internationally, to APO and PO Boxes. We ship to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, etc). Our international customers are only charged exact shipping. We cannot pay or be responsible for any additional taxes or fees that may be charged at customs delivery outside the US.

Returns

We want to make purchasing on the Internet as easy and comfortable as possible. 100% customer satisfaction is our goal for all our customers. On rare occasions and despite our best efforts, an item might turn out to be defective. In the very unlikely event you receive a defective product we ask you to remember that we do not manufacture these products, we simply market them in the U.S. for the manufacturers and factories. With that in mind, we will do whatever it takes to help you achieve 100% satisfaction.

The first step is to email us to request a Return Authorization. In order to speed up the process, please include what is wrong with the unit, your name, full address, model number, receipt number and how you paid for the item. We will gladly ship you a replacement unit or give you a refund. Due to the size and activity of our warehouse, we cannot accept nor be responsible for items and shipping charges if the item is shipped to us without a prior consent and a Return Authorization number.

Please make sure all original paperwork, box,& warranties and accessories are intact and with the unit so we can issue a refund (excluding any shipping costs). If an item is returned and items are missing we cannot issue a full refund. In this case the refund will be minus the cost of items missing. If the item was bought with a free shipping promotion, then the actual shipping will be deducted from the refund

Please make sure to write your RA number clearly on the box. Refunds are issued an average of 7 business days after the checking in of your returned product. After we issue the refund, it is up to your bank to post the credit on your account in a timely manner, PayPal credits take 24 hours or less in most cases. How we ship:

All orders ship FedEx or USPS unless stated otherwise. "Oversized products such as sewing machine cabinets ship by truck line." Most orders arrive within 2 to 4 business days, but may take up to 10 business days for destinations further away from Alabama. Please note some of our items ship directly from the manufacturer to you. In those cases these orders can take up to 10 business days to get to you.

Oversized Delivery Items: Some products we sell are “Oversized Delivery.” These are generally items that are too big to be shipped through UPS, or the Post Office. The estimated delivery time is 1 week. If you order an “Oversized Delivery” item, you will be contacted by the shipper within 24 hours of the scheduled delivery to set up an appointment for your merchandise. Important! Someone must be at the delivery location to receive these items, as they require a signature for delivery. You will be required to assist in moving the packages from the truck at the time of delivery.
