Vintage 1930s Jacket And Skirt Set Size M Fern Green Wool 2 Pce Suit 30s.

Such a cute set. The jacket looks great by itself with jeans.

Appears homemade, there are no labels. Both the jacket and skirt are unlined.

Features covered buttons. The skirt has kick pleats and a metal side zipper.

Size medium women’s.

The set has been photographed on a size 10 AU (6 US) dress form.

Measurements taken when laying flat as follows-

Jacket:

Pit to pit 47cm / 18.5”

Length 44cm / 17.5”

Shoulder 38cm / 15”

Sleeve length 60cm / 23.5”

Waist 37cm / 14.5”

Skirt:

Waist 36cm / 14”

Hip 47cm / 18.5”

Length 74cm / 29”

The set is structurally strong and totally wearable as is.

However, there are a few flaws to note-

The jacket has an old repair in one armpit. It has been done very well and is not noticeable, especially being where it is. I also spotted a small popped seam on the arm which is easily stitched.

The skirt has a small nibble at the bottom hem on the back. There is also a stain on the front that looks like it has been treated and possibly lightened. There is also some light pilling on the back of the skirt.
