Up for auction is a Farmington Hills Harrison Hawks Michigan BIKE Air Power game worn helmet. This Bike helmet date code 130091 manufactured Jan 09 1981 and is made out of Poly-Carbonate alloy that is in a Green Bay Gold or Sunflower Yellow. The helmet is complete and original in a size 71/4 - 7 7/8. The blue double air bladder is a regular size red dot. The original dark green Schutt facemask date code is GHE manufactured July 1985. This helmet also comes with vinyl jaw pads and Bike chin strap. The Helmet has an All American football honor label above the white warning label and the BIKE front nose bumper is in great condition for its age.

BIKE "Air Power" helmet brief history

The original helmet manufactured by Bike Products was initially field tested during the 1976 season. The helmet was then made available for general use starting in the 1977 season. By 1986 Kazmaier & Associates created a separate new company for the helmet products previously produced by Bike Products and called it Athletic Helmet Incorporated or "AHI". Within the first six months Dick Kazmaier sold off the AHI helmet company to a group of investors led by Schutt Sports Group in 1987.
