Fully working Asus Eee 701 Linux netbook from October 2007.

The battery has been refurbished and now has new 18650 cells in it. Gives around 2.5 hours usage.

Making this particular Eee pretty unique.

Includes an original Eee box (not 100% sure it's the right one), slip cover and charger.

The built-in 4GB SSD has the software which was supplied when new, but that's not much use with

the modern internet, so you also have a 32GB SD card with antiX Linux on it which can SSH into a

Raspberry Pi or other servers, and the Seamonkey browser which renders modern sites like bbc.co.uk correctly.

You choose which drive to boot from by changing the Hard Drive order in the BIOS setup screen.

This laptop isn't really fast enough for watching videos on. The 32GB SD card also has a backup image of the 4GB drive on it.

The antiX linux is a special build of the current Debian Bookworm and will get updates for another 2 years, I think.
