Rare Collector's Item
I worked at the San Francisco Examiner when this Special Edition was created. I kept copies for myself since it was such an historic event and headline.
The paper has been folded as it was when distributed. It is the standard newspaper fold. It came out on September 12, 2001, the day after the September 11 attacks. The headline reads "BASTARDS!" with a photo of the burning World Trade Center towers. At the bottom of the front page runs "A CHANGED AMERICA".
