What Makes a Fine Japanese Prayer Beads Different
Unlike inexpensive mass-produced souvenir beads, Kyo Nenju (Kyoto Juzu) are traditional Japanese crafts, valued for their exceptional craftsmanship, durability, and spiritual significance.
All Juzu offered in our store are handcrafted by skilled artisans in Kyoto and come with an official certification tag from the Kyoto Rosary Manufacturing Wholesale Cooperative.

Even the inside of each bead hole is carefully polished to reduce friction and protect the cord from wear. Pure-silk tassels are soft and supple, resist deformation, and retain their beautiful shape over time.
