Unless otherwise specified, 525 exact OEM will be sent as follows;

JT 15 tooth Front & 38 tooth Rear Sprocket (c49 high carbon steel, scm420 chromoly Japan steel alloy ) and the new Pro Street DID VX3 525x110L Gold X-Ring drive chain including a Rivet Type Master Link.

 Chain & sprockets are sent OEM sizes with a Gold DID VX3 525 chain with a RIVET type master link.
 Please specify in "MESSAGE TO SELLER" at step 2 of checkout if optional gearing is desired.


 
1991-2003 HONDA CB750 Nighthawk OEM size is 525x110 x-ring chain, 15t Ft. Sprocket, 38t Rear Sprocket

For QUICKER gear ratio (off the line, roll on's, wheelies), Request a 42t rear sprocket.
+2 teeth rear sprocket will require a longer length chain.
This quick ratio will be much quicker, but slower top speed with higher freeway cruising rpm's.


For FASTER TOP SPEED, and LOWER HIGHWAY CRUISING RPM's, Request a 41tt rear sprocket.
This -2t rear sprocket is a very noticeable change that will be faster top speed, but slower off the line.



* A 1 tooth change in the front is equivalent to a 3 tooth change in the rear.. but opposite effects.
* A 1 tooth change in the rear is a very slight change.
EXAMPLE: (-1 tooth front = +3 teeth rear) or (+1 tooth front = -3 teeth rear)
EXAMPLE: (-1 tooth front and +1 tooth rear combined is the same as +4 rear only without changing the front)



STOCK GEARING  is the factory calculated "happy medium" of both low end acceleration and top end speed.
