When washed, it dries faster than those with the ends folded and sewn, and it is less likely to accumulate bacteria and can be used hygienically.
In the past, tenugui were torn and used as first aid when injured or when the thong broke.
The wisdom of our ancestors lives on to this day.
Wrap it around your head, hang it around your neck, use it as a hand towel or for interior decoration!
