Gorgeous Art Nouveau Martelé silver centerpiece vase. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1908. Tall and elongated baluster with turned-down mouth and domed foot; rims irregular and scrolled. Chased and applied ornament: Windswept flowerheads and meandering tendrils overlap and wind under vertical lobed frames. Visible hand hammering. Fully marked including maker's stamp and code P/GL.
