The 1961 model was used as example for this impressive ES-335 reissue, which was perfectly reproduced by theluthiers in the Nashville Custom Shop. Only selected tonewoods were used here. The bracing made of high-quality "Quarter Sawn Adirondack Spruce" gives the tone exactly the freshness and quality that makes playing on a good ES a real pleasure. Only 466 pieces of the ES-335 were made in sunburst-finish in 1961.
