Important notes to know about the Wireless Driveway Alarm:

1. Weatherproof outdoor sensor with adjustable sensitivity control.

2. The sensor may be placed up to a ½ mile from the base unit in ideal condition.

3. Alerts with light and sound when vehicles or pedestrians approach within a 30 feet radius. Low battery alarm included.

4. Expandable to unlimited sensors and receivers, it is perfect for homes, businesses, properties, and worksites.

5. Super simple to set up. It takes only a few minutes to set up. Easy do it yourself installation.

6. The receiver can be charged using the included cable and AC adapter or run on with 4 AA batteries. The PIR sensor is powered by 4 AA batteries(not included).

7. This is a new version of the sensor powered by AA batteries, it does not contain a lithium battery and cannot be recharged.

8. Note: If you have previously purchased a rechargeable version, only alarms purchased after 2021 can work with the current latest version. Rechargeable driveway alarms purchased in 2021 and earlier that can not work with the current alarm system! The current system is an upgraded system.

Troubleshooting

● The PIR Motion Sensor operates, but the base station does not respond.

a.Check whether the BASE station's power supply is working properly. Are the base station and sensor paired? If not paired, pair the base station and sensor.

b.The distance between the sensor and the base station is too far, and the sensor signal may not be transmitted back to the base station (the working distance is 800 meters in an open environment and 400 meters in an obstructed environment)

● PIR Motion Sensor detects motion only part of the time.

Set the PIR Motion Sensor Switch #2 to the high sensitivity setting. The PIR sensor detects the movements of heat sources. Please adjust the sensor eye with a horizontal angle to the engine of the car.

● The system is giving false alarms.

Check for moving tree branches or insects in the sensor window and remove as necessary. PIR Motion Sensors can also be triggered by light shining directly (or reflected) into the sensor window. It is also possible that condensation has built up on the sensor. Wipe condensation from the PIR Motion sensor with a cotton swab. Detach the 4AA battery and let the sensor dry inside for a few hours, open to the air. The sensor should correct itself once dry. Check the Sensor Switches on the PIR Motion Sensor (see Switch settings.)

● The system is not getting expected transmission range.

Ensure that the PIR Motion Sensors are vertically aligned, not attached to the far side of a tree, and away from metal objects. Ensure that the Base Station antenna is vertical and has the clearest possible line of site to the sensors. The fewer objects between the devices, the longer the range.

• What power supply method does the driveway alarm use?

  The new version sensor uses 4 AA batteries to charge and can be used for about one year depending on the frequency of use.

  The base can use 4 AA batteries or can be charged with a charging cable and adapter.

• How is the waterproof performance?

  Please don't worry about the waterproofing, we have carried out hundreds of waterproofing tests on the product, and the result is no problem. Water will not enter the product.

• Can the alarm system be extended?

  It can be expandable up to 4 sensors and unlimited receivers for complete coverage of your perimeter.

  One base is paired with only up to 4 sensors, but you can expand unlimited bases. Or you can buy multiple alarm systems to have more sensors.

• I had a rechargeable version alarm before. Can the previous receiver be used with the current AA battery version sensor?

  Of course! The previous rechargeable version alarm(bought after 2021) is compatible with the current AA battery version alarm. Just pair them and they can work together! Check the pairing video on the listing. Note the order of steps to avoid error.

• After the alarm is triggered, will the base receiver announce which channel it is before it rings?

  The round receiver and the old square receiver(Sold before mid-2024) have no channel broadcast, only ringtones. However, we add music selection to the newly upgraded square receiver (Sold after mid-2024), and there are voice options to choose from.
