1) The small black lead that comes with the powerbank is the charging lead for the powerbank. When charging required the small plug (micro usb) goes into the matching connector on the power bank and the other larger usb connector goes into your usual usb charging adaptor. The power bank is fully charged when all 4 white leds are lit and steady. I have tested this unit and it charges and keeps charged if not used

2) With all power banks it gives you more overall charging time if you only charge your device to say 50-80% disconnect and reuse again when needed. Use your normal usb charging lead with large usb connector plugged into the power bank and other end plugged into your device as normal

3) All items are tested immediately prior to shipping to make sure they charge a device and then can be recharged and hold charge. If left unused for a long time it is best to recharge if showing less than 3 leds.
