Material composition: Satin microfibre: 69% Polyamide, 31% Elastane
Polyamide is a synthetic fiber with elasticity properties that exceed wool (20 times) and cotton (10 times). Polyamide consisting fabrics are non-creasing, strong and elastic, but having low light resistance, they can easily fade or turn yellowish. Thus, polyamide is usually blended with natural fibers to reduce the negative properties. Such blended materials fit nicely, do not wear out, dry quickly and do not require any special care.
When washing polyamide fabrics, bleaching products are not recommended as these may cause tearing. Items can be washed at 40 - 60°C / 104 - 140°F. Blouses, underwear and hosiery should be washed at 40°C / 104°F, other light clothes and textiles at up to 60°C / 140°F. Regardless of the items, low spinning speed should be used.
Elastane is most commonly used for supplementing other fabrics and it is produced chemically. It is used in the fabrics of hosiery, lingerie, swimwear and outerwear. Its special feature is elasticity, which gives the clothes several advantages. Elastane can stretch up to 500% and quickly restore its original shape. However, this feature is damaged by sweat which reduces the stretching properties, so if you wish your elastane containing items to stay as new for longer, do not wait too long with washing them. Elastane fabrics generally do not crease and are easy to maintain.
Check the label before washing as the care may be depending on the other fibers in the fabric. In most cases, you can wash such fabrics either by hand or use a washing machine.
