Love the long sleeves November 29, 2015 Sweater runs true to size. While I have to size up in the Clare cardigan, this one runs true to size. I ordered up figuring it was similar to the Clare, so it's a little big but will look fine with a blouse or shirt underneath it. I ordered another one because I'm absolutely in love with the long sleeves. I ordered my normal J.Crew size and I'm expecting it to fit perfectly. Very happy with the feel of the fabric and the buttons and the fact that it's a full length sleeve that I can cuff. For reference I am 5 foot 10, 150 pounds. 36C, and I got a large in this cardigan the second time where I originally bought an extra large that was a little loose.
Great Sweater January 24, 2016 I purchased 2 black and 1 navy in this sweater, and I love this sweater for the spring and fall and especially when traveling. I am 65 years old and I have weight in my mid section and these sweaters are the right length and the style allows for a nice fit without being boxy nor slim fitting. This particular fit is more flattering on me than the Clare. I am going to purchased additional sweaters in this style
Classic cardigan in so many beautiful colors! November 26, 2015 I found this cardigan to be lovely. It fits true to size and has a classic silhouette (not close fitting and not boxy). I did find the sleeves to be about one-two inches to long and I have average-long length arms. Nothing that can't be fixed by simply a roll or tailor. Good mid-light weight textile quality. I've worn one sweater several times and haven't noticed any pilling fuzz. I couldn't decide on which color I liked so, I ordered five for this spring/summer. Thank you, Jcrew Mercantile for offering so many beautiful color choices at such a nice price point.
I want this in all colors February 10, 2017 I'm 5'1", 110 lbs. I purchased the Caryn sweater in a small, and it fit true to size. I love that the hues are vibrant and the style of the sweater is very modern. I purchased several as I wear cardigans to work each day (I wear cardigans like long sleeve shirts--warm, colorful, classy) with a base layer for warmth in the cold office temperatures. The sleeves are long enough to cover the base layer, and the two buttons at the top give me more flexibility with how I want to style the sweater (I can button all the way to the neck without looking matronly, or leave the top two buttons open to show a contrasting shirt or jewelry). The sweater both looks and feels like a quality product. I'll be purchasing more!
