** We check every culture batch in our lab with research-grade microscope to make sure the phytoplankton you receive is safe to use in your reef system, without any contamination from rotifers, copepods or bacteria. 

Concentrated phytoplankton (Nannochloropsis Oculata), cultured with sterilised saltwater (salinity of 1.025). Freshly harvested on the same day when your order is posted. Excellent for your reef tank feeding your corals, pods, rotifers, brine shrimps etc, creating a diverse ecosystem in your tank. 

Nannochloropsis sp. has an extremely high omega-3 (lipid) content and useful macromolecues such as chlorophylls and carotenoids, all adding to the base nutritional value of phytoplankton.

Can be kept in fridge (3-5 degree Celsius) for 4-8 weeks or longer (thorough shaking required every 2-3 days and avoid contamination, e.g. with tank water, to maximise its 'shelf life'). Sold either in bottle or pouch with a screw cap, so it can be safely stored in fridge after each use.

*Dosage depends on your tank size and coral stock - typically 5ml per 100L, 3-4 times a week, for a fully stocked reef tank. Reduce dosage if you have fewer coral in tank. Keep your protein skimmer off for 1 hour after dosage to maximise effectiveness.
