Our St. John’s Wort Oil is prepared from small batches of fresh (never dried) flowering tops of Hypericum perforatum
plants. Each summer near the solstice, the plants are responsibly
wildcrafted in Oregon’s Siskiyou and Cascade mountains in a narrow time
frame before the flowers have fully opened, then extracted while still
fresh.
To ensure optimal extraction of St. John’s Wort’s rich red pigments, the
uppermost tops of the plants are hand-harvested, then extracted while
still fresh and succulent into cold pressed Certified Organic olive oil.
